If you’re running Facebook Ads with the objective of lead generation, video views, or conversions, you’ll need landing pages on your site. It’s not a luxury, it’s a necessity.
Most of us, however, are not expert web developers and graphic designers. This makes the creation of quality landing pages time consuming and potentially expensive, especially if we try to create them ourselves or hire a developer to do it for us.
That’s where landing page software and creation tools come in.
There are some incredible landing page creation tools out there that can make the process a lot faster and more affordable. With these tools, you’ll be able to create landing pages for every campaign, offer, and promotion you need them for.
Some are designed for your generic, run-of-the-mill landing pages, while others have specializations like contest landing pages, or launch landing pages.
In this post, we’re going to take a look at my favorite landing page creation tools that you should start using now.
Unbounce does what the best landing page builder should do: it makes it easy to build high-quality landing pages quickly, without needing to know so much as a snippet of code. Like many other tools on this list, its drag-and-drop software makes it incredibly simple to place whatever components on your landing page, wherever you want them.
They have a ton of incredible landing page templates to use for inspiration and guidance. Unbounce also has great integrations with WordPress, Google Analytics, and a large number of email marketing tools. They even have A/B testing on their essential (or first-level) plan.
Unbounce isn’t cheap, and it comes it at $79 a month for their basic plan. That being said, this is a great investment; it would cost much more just to hire a graphic designer to create one landing page, let alone multiple versions. There’s a 30-day free trial so you can make sure it’s the right fit for you.
Given its name, it’s not a huge shock that Leadpages provides outstanding landing page builders and lead generation software. Their interface is incredibly user-friendly and simple to use (even for me) and allows you to create landing pages for multiple different mediums. Want to show landing pages to someone via email, pop-up forms, and social media? They can help you do that. They can even show you how to create landing pages that are designed to be texted to different users.
Leadpages has more than one hundred and sixty beautiful ready-made free landing page templates to take the burden of guesswork (and the brunt of the design work) off your shoulders. Many of these templates offer drag-and-drop editing capabilities, and they even offer landing pages designed for different purposes or industries. Add in countdown timers, CTA buttons, and so much more with just a few short clicks.
For most SMBs who are on a tight marketing budget, this is the tool I’d recommend. Their standard plan starts at just $25 a month and includes weekly Q&A coaching calls and email support. You have to upgrade for A/B testing and other great features, but even the basic plan has a lot to offer. Leadpages offer a 14-day free trial.
Instapage has a powerful landing page builder that’s designed to fit your needs, instead of requiring your needs to fit into a template. This software comes with plenty of gorgeous templates, but there’s options for you to use an inline CSS editor to fully customize every template so it’s exactly what you need.
They pride themselves on extremely high server uptime, enterprise grade security, and excellent customer support.
If you’re working with a team to create landing pages, this is the tool to use. Different team members can leave comments and feedback on the design so that everyone is working in sync. Their plans start at $68 per month and include more than 20 integrations, collaboration features, and high-quality designs. If you go up to their Optimization plan ($113 a month), you get unlimited A/B testing. Instapage offers a 14-day free trial.
Sometimes, using specialized landing page software will work in your favor. ShortStack’s social media contest software is a great example of this. ShortStack helps you to create high-quality landing pages in just a matter of minutes that you can use as a central hub to host your contest on.
With this landing page, you can actually get more than just engagement and attention as a result of your contest: you can also get actual lead information, like email addresses, names, and lead qualifying information. It’s also easier to promote your contest across multiple channels, since you just have to share a link instead of trying to get people to find the right post on your Facebook from your Twitter.
ShortStack has plenty of customizable landing page templates for almost any type of social contest you could want to create—including Pinterest and YouTube contests. They also have great analytics and plenty of integrations with other software. You can start out with their free plan (which has enough features to test out the software for yourself) to see how you like it.
Launchrock is another specialized landing page creator. Instead of social contests, though, they ofocus on lead generation for businesses that are about to officially launch their brands, start-ups, or new products. They have seven free templates, and the ability to create a landing page completely from scratch if you choose to.
If you’re looking for a free landing page creator that still provides quality design work, this is it. They have starter plans, which are free, and professional plans at only $5 a month, the latter of which includes custom HTML & CSS. For the free plan, you’ll have a Launchrock subdomain.
Landing page creator tools are not all created equal, but I can happily recommend every single tool on this list. They all have easy-to-use and customizable templates and can create landing pages that are mobile responsive.
Any of these landing page builders are extremely valuable for small and medium-sized businesses who are ready to improve their advertising but don’t have the budget for one-of-a-kind custom sites. These tools will help you create landing pages that look just as good in no time at all.
What do you think? Do you use any of these tools to make your landing pages? How do you go about the landing page design process? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think!
