It’s an exciting period here in the office. You know, developing a product as complex as AdEspresso is no easy task. It requires passion, focus, a gifted team, and lots and lots of work. Even with all of our hard work, a product like AdEspresso cannot be created overnight. During the first phase of the product development there’s a lot of core stuff to write: Facebook Ads API, backend systems to update and analyze data, optimization algorithms, user management and so on. I don’t want to bore you with this stuff but, as the CEO of the company, you can understand my pain in those long months when AdEspresso existed only on paper and, fortunately, on some static interface layouts, while everyone was working on very important parts of the project which could not be seen or played with yet.
The wait is over, Facebook Ads Optimization as easy as 1, 2, 3
Now those long months are finally behind us and things are getting really exciting and fun. We’ve finally started sending out the first round of beta invites and your response so far has been great. We’re now testing AdEspresso with more than 50 beta testers and once we come back from Rome, where we’ll showcase AdEspresso beta at TechCrunch Italy, we’ll start sending out 50 new beta invitations every week.
While you wait for an invitation let me give you a quick preview about what you’ll find and what you can expect to see very soon. Don’t worry, the wait for new features won’t be long, we’re adopting a fast release cycle and new features are pushed in production every two days.
What is AdEspresso Right now ?
AdEspresso is already one of the easiest tools to manage your Facebook Advertising. It is not intended for senior marketers who are in love with huge data and endless Excel files. It was meant to be used by you, standard users who need to promote their businesses in an easy and intuitive way. Once logged into AdEspresso you’ll be able to quickly create hundreds of Facebook Ads, testing multiple creatives and demographic targets. The whole publishing process won’t take you more than 3 minutes, no matter how many Ads you want to create.
One you’ve published your first campaign you’ll be able to review it on your Dashboard. AdEspresso will only display the important metrics to you and ad hoc notifications will guide you through understanding the data and optimizing your campaigns.
Finally, when you have familiarized yourself with the analytics, you’ll be able to start optimizing your campaigns. AdEspresso will tell you what are the best and worst targets and creatives. With a simple click you’ll be able to immidiately stop underperforming ads.
That’s it, it’s as easy as it sounds and everyone, we guarantee we can create a successful Facebook Ads Campaign using our tool.
Cool, what else do have you in your hat for better Facebook Ads Optimization ?
You know we can’t show all our cards too early or we’ll lose the suspense, however let me hint at some of the features that are coming in the very near future:
- Engagement Metrics: It’s really important for us to optimize your campaign based on results not numbers. That’s why we’re introducing brand new engagement metrics that show you how much people click on your ads and interact with your Facebook Page. How many wall posts did they write? How many did they like? Are they commenting on or clicking links? Do they play your videos ?
- Interests Stats: Right now you can see a break down of each targeted interest’s performance only if you’re split testing them. In the near future AdEspresso will give you useful metrics for Interests even if you’re targeting them all together without an experiment. This is a great news since we’ve seen our testers often target many, many interests and split testing all of them would create too many ads.
- Campaign comparison: This is another really cool feature I’m proud of. Once this is live you’ll be able to compare up to 4 campaigns side by side . This helps you more easily understand which campaign is performing better or to compare your campaign with a similar one you’ve run in the past.
- Automatic Bidding Optimization: This is an heavy one. We’re working with great mathematicians to fine-tune a kick-ass algorithm that will dynamically update your ad’s bid every hour to try and reduce it as much as possible. You can easily guess the benefit of this feature, I’m assuming.
These are just some of the main features we’re currently working on. Expect to see them live very soon and don’t worry … it’s just a small part of what we’re working on, minor features and improvements based on your feedback are deployed every day.
If you’ve not done it yet, join our beta now !
