Hurrah! We’ve been working hard to improve AdEspresso — here’s a quick round up of all the new features we’ve added to the platform in the last few weeks: DayParting, Campaigns’ Drafts, Audience Templates, Website Custom Audiences, and more!
We hope these new features will make your life as an advertiser even better, allowing you to spend less time on boring tasks and focus on making your campaigns more profitable!
We’ve been working on some big new features which we’ll be releasing in the next few weeks. It’s going to be a hot summer full of updates, so stay tuned and remember — our goal is to make you successful! Let us know what you think is missing and what we could do better. That’ll really help us shape our roadmap!
Facebook Ads DayParting
Control when your campaign will be delivered on Facebook! You may have noticed this already, but different campaigns work better at different times or on different days.
If you’re in the B2B space, it’s very likely that people may be interested in your ad when they’re in working mode in the office. On the weekend or at night your ads may perform poorly.
Likewise, entertaining products are much more likely to work in the evenings and weekends when people are more relaxed and students are at home.
With our Facebook Ads DayParting feature, you now have full control over your campaign’s scheduled delivery. Pick which days and in which hours you want your ads to be displayed and let us handle it while you relax. No more working on Saturday morning just to stop your campaigns!
You can set DayParting in Step 4 of campaign creation, just below the bidding options.
Save Campaign as Draft
Time is never enough. You probably have a lot going on, such as meetings or major projects. This becomes particularly problematic when you have to stop in the middle of creating a new Facebook campaign. Traditionally, this meant all your work would be lost. No more!
With AdEspresso, save your Facebook Ad Campaign as a draft at any time and complete it later! It’s extremely simple. Just click the “Save as Draft” button next to the page title during campaign creation and your campaign will be saved.
You’ll be able to reopen and complete your work at any time, both from your home dashboard and from the campaign dropdown on the top left of AdEspresso.
Save & Reuse Audiences
Entering the same targeting options every time for each campaign can be a boring task, especially if you target the same demographic audience often.
From now on, each time you’re defining the targeting of your campaigns in Step 3, you’ll have two links on the right column of AdEspresso to quickly save the targeting you’re working on or load a pre-existing one!
This will save you so much time! You’ll quickly become addicted to this new feature, we promise!
Website Custom Audience
If you follow our blog and the new website, you know we simply love Custom Audiences! We even released a full eBook to get the most out of them.
The new Website Custom Audiences allow you to retarget Facebook Ads to anyone who has visited specific pages of your website, even without knowing their email!
It’s extremely powerful and effective. For example, you could use laser focused ads to win back all the customers who abandoned your shopping cart by targeting anyone who visited the checkout page of your website, but not the thank you page.
AdEspresso has full support for Website Custom Audiences creation. From the top menu, just go to Settings -> Custom Audiences and click Create Audience.
Better City Targeting
If you use Facebook Ads to promote a local business, you’ve probably waited for better city targeting for a long time.
When targeting ads by cities, we now support selecting the mile radius to target. This is extremely useful to reach a broader audience who don’t live within the city, yet near enough to be interested in your business or event.
If you want to enable this feature in Step 3 when targeting cities, just select from the dropdown on the right which allows you to indicate how many miles away from the city you want to reach.
Need For Speed – Phase 1
We’re on a mission to make AdEspresso faster and upgrade our hardware infrastructure as we grow — our customers are optimizing nearly 10,000 Facebook Ads with us. Thanks to each and every one of you!
We’ve completed the switch to more powerful and faster database servers on Amazon Web Services. We’ve also moved all our static files to a CDN (Content Delivery Network) so content will be sent to your browser from the nearest server possible, in whatever continent you live. This completes the first phase of an ongoing upgrade process that has already delivered a 23.6 percent speed improvement.
In the next week, we’ll also announce faster syncing of data between AdEspresso and Facebook. Users in trial and on the Base plan will remain on the current one hour refresh cycle, while Premium users will enjoy a 30 minute refresh. Elite users will be on a blazing fast 10 minutes cycle.
Getting back to work for you
Time to get back to work! We have many awesome features that we’re working on — we’ll release them very soon to make you more productive and less stressed. Remember, if you have any suggestions, let us know!
